Preparing for Pickup and Delivery Service in Chicago
You probably found us because you were looking for a better way to do laundry. Let’s face it, doing the wash is a chore that most people simply despise doing. Pickup and delivery laundry with Drop and Dash Laundry Service couldn’t be easier. Just leave all the work to us – we’ll pickup, wash, dry, fold, and deliver your freshly cleaned clothes and linen to your doorstep.
There are a few quick tips we’d like to offer to ensure that you have a great experience with us.
Prepare Your Laundry
The first thing to do is to make sure that you don’t include any delicates or dry cleaning with your regular load of laundry. While we’ll make sure to properly sort and separate your items, you don’t want to include your suitcoat or other sensitive items in your pickup order.
Be sure to empty your pockets – we cannot be responsible for lost or broken items. It’s definitely no fun to have a pen crack open. It’s always a great idea to take everything out.
Leave your laundry out on your porch, with a neighbor or door person, or anywhere else accessible to our driver. You can use any type of disposable bag, like a garbage bag, for your laundry.
Do You Need to Sort?
The short answer here is “no.” As part of our concierge service, we will take all of your clothes and sort them by color and type to wash colors with color, darks with darks, and whites with whites. You can separate your delicates such as lingerie in a separate bag with a note.
Let Us Know Any Special Requests
Speaking of notes, through our online ordering system or with our mobile app, you can leave specific instructions. For instance, if you have a special request for fabric softener, detergent type, or bleach, let us know. If you need certain items dried in a certain way, let us know that too.
