  • Why should I use Drop & Dash Laundry?

  • How to place a laundry pickup and delivery order with Drop and Dash Laundry:

    Place your order by customizing it with your personal laundry preferences and scheduling your pickup and delivery date and time. A driver will be assigned to you and will begin heading to your designated pick-up address, as the pick-up window approaches. Once the driver arrives, they will contact you to pick up your clothes and deliver them to our laundry facility.

    Our professional laundry care team will then wash your clothes according to your specifications. Your clothes are inspected prior to washing, ensuring that whites and darks are separated, and everything is washed to your preferences. On the selected delivery date and time, your driver will deliver your clean laundry to your designated drop off address. You will receive notifications as your order is on the way, and you can track your delivery through the Drop and Dash app or website. 

    Your driver will send a photo of your delivered clean laundry upon arrival. 

  • What container should I put my laundry in?

    Please put your laundry in a disposable bag, like a garbage bag or large shopping bag, and place it outside your door or in your preferred pickup location prior to your pickup window, or you can simply hand your laundry directly to the driver upon arrival. Your order will be charged by the pound at $1.95/lb, with a minimum order of 20 lbs (around 2 loads of laundry).

  • Is there a minimum order size for wash & fold?

    Our minimum order for wash & fold is $39, which is 20 lbs (around 2 loads of laundry), exclusive of delivery fees.

  • Do I need to download the app?

    You do not need to download our app to place an order – ordering is available through our web portal. However, we recommend downloading our app for the best overall customer experience.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept payments through all major credit card carriers.

  • What happens if you lose/damage some items?

    Please call us at (773) 436-1994, and we will make sure to make it right.

  • How do I cancel?

    If you need to cancel your order, you can do so through your account on our website or app. We recommend making changes as early as possible to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Who washes my clothes?

    Our attendants are skilled laundry professionals who professionally wash your clothes using state-of-the-art equipment at our modern laundry facility.

  • Where are my clothes washed?

    Your clothes will be washed at one of our laundry facilities across Chicago. Please go to washsmartlaundry.com to see the facilities for yourself.

    For commercial laundry needs, we utilize a specialized facility dedicated to handling goods for commercial customers. 

  • Are my clothes safe with Drop & Dash Laundry?

    Rest assured; the safety of your clothes is our priority. We maintain secure laundry facilities, equipped with cameras, to ensure the protection of your items during the entire laundry process. Our trained laundry professionals handle your laundry with care and attention to detail. 

  • Do you offer stain removal services?

    Yes, we offer stain removal services as part of our laundry treatment. Our skilled team will do their best to treat and remove stains from your clothing during the laundry process.

  • Can I include specific instructions for handling delicate items?

    Yes, you can provide specific instructions for handling delicate items during the order placement process. We take extra care with special requests to ensure your items are treated appropriately.

  • Do you offer hang-drying? 

    We are pleased to offer hang-drying to our customers. However, due to the extra labor and increased turnaround time, there is an upcharge on all hang-dry orders. 

  • Do you provide commercial laundry service?

    Absolutely! We provide commercial laundry services to many types of businesses including but not limited to Country Clubs, Barber Shops & Beauty Salons, Fitness Centers, Spas & Med Spas, Massage Therapy Clinics, AirBnB’s, Hotels & Motels, Restaurants, Medical Offices, Assisted & Independent Living Communities.

Delivery

  • Can I get my pickup and delivery service turned around the same day or next day?

    Yes! We offer next day and same day, rush delivery service to our residential customers. This option is available when you select your delivery date. For same-day service, your selected pickup time must be before 2pm. 

  • What are your laundry pickup and delivery time slots?

    Our service is completely on demand. You can place an order at any time and schedule a pickup/delivery window between 5am and 10pm.

  • How do I track my order?

    You can track your order on the app, which features a real-time map of your driver, similar to apps like Uber or DoorDash. Please ensure you opt in to receiving notifications after downloading the app, so that you receive updates when the driver is en route to pick up your laundry, when your laundry arrives at our facility, when it’s being processed, and when it’s on it’s way back to you!

  • How do I know if my address is within your delivery zone?

    We serve the entire Chicagoland area, including all of Chicago as well as the northern, western, and southern suburbs.

    The best way to confirm whether Drop & Dash services your address is to create an account. Upon entering your address, you will be notified if your address is outside of our service area.

  • Do I have to be home to meet the driver?

    You do not have to be home to meet the driver to pick up your laundry, but you will be responsible for the safety of your laundry. Please ensure you are near your phone during your pickup window, so that your driver can reach you regarding any issues or complications.

    If you live in a residential home and won’t be home during your pickup window, feel free to leave your laundry on your porch or anywhere else accessible to our driver. If your driver has issues finding your laundry, they will call you directly.

    If you live in an apartment or multi unit building, we recommend that you schedule your pickup at a time when you will be home, to ensure the driver has no issues with building access.

    Please include information as to where your laundry can be found in the “Additional Instructions for Driver” section on the app, so that the driver is aware.

  • I was notified that my laundry delivery was delayed. What do these delays mean?

    A variety of factors may occasionally lead to a delay in the delivery and pickup of your laundry services. Despite our dedicated commitment to punctuality, there are instances where additional time is needed to ensure the meticulous cleaning of your garments. In those cases, we expect to return your laundry later than originally anticipated, however we work extremely hard to provide the fastest turnaround time possible. 

  • I missed my laundry pickup. Is there a way to reschedule the pickup and delivery service?

    Please try and place the order on the app again or call us at (773) 436-1994.

  • What if I have a change in my pickup or delivery schedule?

    If you need to make changes to your pickup or delivery schedule, you can do so through your account on our website or app. We recommend making changes as early as possible to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Do you deliver on holidays?

    We deliver on holidays. To get the most accurate information about delivery dates and times, please sign into your account and look for your desired delivery date.

  • Can I drop off my clothes instead of using the pickup and delivery service?
